We invite you to have a look around the various pages with information about our resort at Koh Phangan, Thailand. Hopefully, after seeing the website, you will be tempted to visit the resort and experience a relaxed holiday. The resort is located on the Island Koh Phangan, just a couple of kilometers off the East Coast of Thailand. Famous for the monthly held Full Moon Party, Koh Phangan is situated between the Island Koh Samui and Koh Tao.

The sea view bungalows offer spectacular views of the sunrise and the Haad Rin Beach on the east side.

Find yourself relaxing in a hammock at your bungalow, gazing at the sea and listening to the sound of the ocean waves breaking against the coastline consisting of rocks and cliffs. Allow yourself to be lost in the moment.

Refresh your body and soul during a Yoga Session at the yoga platform by the sea-side.

Located down the hill on the south-east side of the resort, these bungalows are surrounded by trees and nature and have good views over the ocean.

The rooms are approximately 18 sqm (Twin) and 20 sqm (Triple) and have undergone a swedish touch by the previous owners of the resort.

The facilities offered are: Mosquito net, Fan, Bathroom with Hot water.

King Bungalow Fan (Twin

This bungalow is famous for its superb location at the south-eastern tip of the resort area, at the start of the rocks with an almost perfect view over the ocean.

Approximately 20 sqm in size, the room is equipped with a Fan, Mosquito net, and a bathroom with Hot water.

On top of this the bungalow has a veranda at the lower floor (12 sqm), which is very suitable for doing yoga, of just sitting, relaxing and enjoying the nice view

Garden View A/C

Garden View & Ocean View Rooms

We are proud to present our newly constructed bungalows, which have just been in use since May 2011. They have been designed by a team of our own Amaresa resident engineers and a Dutch Architect.  The bungalows are located at the top side of the hill, enabling nice views to the visitor. Each bungalow consists of a Garden View Room at the lower floor, and an Ocean View Room at the top floor.

The rooms range in size from 25 sqm to 28 sqm, and all have spacious balconies and modern bathrooms. Spectacular views are ensured from most of the rooms, especially the top floor rooms.

All rooms are equipped with Airconditoning (AC), TV, DVD-player, Minibar, Coffeeset and Bathroom with Hot Water.  In the gallery section of our website we have included more pictures of the new rooms.

In our sky bar you can enjoy having breakfast and lunch or just relax with a drink. The constant sea breeze keeps you cool while the breathtaking views will massage the mind. If you happened to bring along a laptop computer you can even enjoy high speed internet access for free.

Yoga at Amaresa

Both Yoga and Yoga Massage have proven to be a very successfull combination over the years at our island and now it is possible to do Yoga at Amaresa Resort. It appears that the place where our resort is located, has been a venue of relaxation and spirituality for years. Long ago there was a school for Tai Chi at this place and over the years both individuals and groups have practised yoga here. You will feel the good vibes as soon as you set foot at our place. The four impressive banyan trees at our resort only strengthen this belief.

Amaresa Resort has joined hands with Yoga School Blue Horizon, led by Yoga Teacher Melanie Summerton, who has been practising and teaching Yoga for many years on Koh Phangan.Under the guidance of Melanie, you will be able to experience the true benefits of this ancient art without any risks of getting injured.

Furthermore, we are in the process of making a selection of the finest Yoga massage therapists on the island.
